Ever wonder what it feels like to see all the pokémon around you without looking through a smartphone screen? Seems ODG has a solution with it’s R-7 augmented reality glasses.

The R-7 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and runs ODG’s proprietary ReticleOS operating system on top of Android Kit Kat. It’s compatible with a variety of AR operating systems and has a 3D stereoscopic see-thru HD displays. The glasses also has wireless connectivity and positional sensors.

While it seems too good to be true, it may very well be with its $2,750 price tag. They have been available since 2015 and orders can be placed at their online shop. It does offer good possibilities for future gadgets especially with Microsoft’s HoloLens technology being made available to third-party manufacturers. Alfred Bayle
