Hearing is one of the basic senses of the human body, and one adorable 3-month-old baby girl just found that out for the first time.
Annabelle Lawrence from Idaho, USA, is melting hearts on social media after being caught on video the moment she hears her mother’s voice for the first time.

The infant’s face registered a wide range of emotions, from excitement and surprise to puzzlement and concern, as she experienced the allure of sound.
“Is that a normal response?” Sarah Jo asked the audiologist from Idaho Elks Hearing and Balance Center, the New York Post reported.

When Annabelle turns 9 months old, she will be fitted with cochlear implants to replace the temporary hearing aids, the report said.
“Everything has been so overwhelming,” her mom said. “To be able to tell Annabelle that I love her and know she hears me is very emotional.”
She added that Annabelle has been more tired than usual since being fitted with the hearing aids, but that she has been visibly much more excited.
“I can’t stop talking to her,” she said. “Whenever I’m doing the dishes or putting a wash on, I give her a running commentary.” Khristian Ibarrola
