Pokémon Go arrives in Hong Kong

Much to the delight of Hong Kongers, Pokémon Go has finally arrived at their shores. This also further flames the anticipation of nearby Asian countries for their turn to get hold of Pokémon Go.

Local users first noticed that the maps had gone live Monday at 11 a.m. and soon an official roll-out on the Apple and Android app stores followed, Hong Kong Free Press reported.

Hong Kong residents wasted no time taking to the streets and capturing their favorite pokémon. A local Pokémon Go community group on Facebook even posted a congratulatory message following the app’s local release.

With Hong Kong so nearby, Filipino fans must be deathly anxious to finally have the game available in the app stores locally.  Alfred Bayle
