Pokémon Go Plus release delayed
As Pokémon Go continues to burn through users’ body fat and smartphone batteries, the one device that could lighten the load on smartphones has been delayed.
The Pokémon Go Plus is a wearable that was set to be released on July 27 worldwide, but Nintendo recently confirmed that it would be pushed back to a September release, reports Tech Radar.
Nintendo of America released the information via Twitter.
This accessory is meant to be worn on the wrist and connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. It notifies the user when Pokémon are nearby by vibrating an LED indicator. This is meant to free users from constantly looking through their smartphones and possibly injuring themselves due to carelessness.
The price tag for the Pokémon Go Plus is $35 and is already up for pre-order. Alfred Bayle
