LG’s V20 is first smartphone to be powered by Android Nougat
Smartphone maker LG announced on Tuesday that its newest cutting-edge product, LG V20, will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat.
LG V20, which is scheduled to be released in October this year, is a follow-up on LG V10, which was released in October 2015. If the tech rumors later turn out to be true, LG V20 will be the first smartphone model to be supplied with the latest Android system.
In a related development, the latest Android system is expected to be released on Aug. 5, based on “reliable tech insider” Evan Blass’ tweet about the Android system’s grand opening.

LG V20 will have premium features sponsored by Nougat, including the Doze battery saver, support for better gaming graphics, and a Direct Reply option on the notification panel. Although Nexus 5 is extradited from the list, Nexus 6P, 5X, 6, Pixel C and 9 will have Android Nougat updates in the upcoming months.
Despite its “swift” release in the market, Android users would have to wait for months before they could “chew on” the Nougat, CNet reported. Gianna Francesca Catolico
