MMDA to employees: No ‘Pokemon Go’ while on duty
The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) barred its employees from playing the hit mobile game “Pokemon Go” while on duty.

In a memorandum date Aug. 8, MMDA officer-in-charge Emerson Carlos said it has come to the management’s attention that some employees “have been addicted in playing the said game.”
“In this regard, all employees of this Authority are directed to refrain from playing the said game during office hours or while on duty as this hampers the operation of the office, thus affecting the productivity of the Authority,” the memo read.
Carlos said those who will be caught violating the memo “shall be dealt with administrative sanctions accordingly.”
MMDA earlier advised Pokemon Go players to prioritize safety and to be vigilant while playing especially on the streets.
