WATCH: Man solves Rubik’s cube faster than Bolt’s 100m run
Finishing a Rubik’s cube in record time is not an Olympic event, but if it was, this man would certainly have a shot at taking home a gold medal.
While Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt was busy making history with his third consecutive Olympic gold in the 100m event, YouTuber Anthony Brooks put his skills to the test to see if he could solve a Rubik’s cube puzzle faster than it took the Olympian to finish the race.
Article continues after this advertisementAs seen in a 25-second viral video, Brooks “bested” the track superstar by solving the notoriously strenuous three-dimensional combination puzzle in just 8.3 seconds, while Bolt posted a finishing time of 9.81 seconds.
Brooks even playfully mirrored Bolt’s stance and simultaneously bended his knees, imitating the runner’s starting position.
The original video has been viewed over 61,000 times since its initial posting on Aug. 14.
