As part of Apple’s strategy to target younger users, the company is developing its own video-sharing app similar to Snapchat and Instagram.

Apple is highly experienced when it comes to video editing and will be employing the same development team behind Final Cut Pro. They will apparently also hire the former president of a video production company to lead the new project.

The company has not been idle when it comes to developing apps with “multiple social-related features.” It has been busy testing out different software that have yet to be released. With the introduction of third-party animated sticker packs for the iMessage in iOS 10, users may soon see more of social apps developed by Apple.  Alfred Bayle
