Learning English through Netflix movies, TV shows
Attending foreign language classes are oftentimes boring, an exercise that people endure to learn a new language. That is unless the teacher is an attractive one. The next best thing is through popular media like TV and movies, which Fleex is capitalizing on.
Fleex is a service that is centered on helping individuals learn the English language and it recently came out with a Google Chrome add-on that can be linked to Netflix, reports Engadget.

The settings include Standard, which adds standard subtitles; Dual, which shows English and the user’s native language on the subtitle area; and Mixed, where the subtitles will intuitively switch between English and the user’s native tongue.
At any point on the program, users may also pause the video to check word definitions through a dictionary-like window.
As users improve, the balance between their native and the English language will shift until eventually the subtitles can be turned off.
