Instagram now available for Windows 10 PCs and tablets
Instagram has now made its move into the Windows 10 desktop environment after initially being restricted to Windows 10 mobile phones. However, there’ no word yet on an iPad version.
The Windows 10 version comes will all the bells and whistles that Instagram features such as Stories, Direct and Explore. Users will also be able to capture, upload and edit photos. However, uploading will require a PC with touchscreen capabilities or a Windows 10 tablet, reports The Verge.
It is a bizarre restriction, to say the least, especially when Microsoft’s Surface Pro and Surface Book have now trouble uploading photos. PC users may download the Instagram app from the Microsoft Windows Store. Alfred Bayle
