NVIDIA will soon be releasing its budget-friendly GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti graphics cards. AMD, however, is not one to let it slide as the company announced price cuts for the Radeon RX 470 and RX 460.

The new prices are already effective in the US, with the RX 470 dropping down to $169 (P8,146) while the RX 460 gets a new $99 (P4,772) price tag, reports TechRadar.

On the other hand, the GeForce 1050 and 1050 Ti are expected to be priced at $109 (P5,259) and $139 (6,707), respectively.

Apart from the lower price tags, AMD also points out the technological benefits that its Radeon graphics cards offer such as greater compatibility with affordable FreeSync monitors.  Alfred Bayle
