Video game Overwatch offered free to play in weekend promo

Everyone in the gaming sphere is talking about it. Game streams have flooded the internet. And now the wildly popular Overwatch is offering a free play promo next weekend.

Starting Friday, Nov. 18, and until the 21st, Overwatch will be free to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Not only that, Blizzard Entertainment is offering a full-access experience that includes leveling, various game modes, customizations and Loot Boxes.

Progress will also be retained after the Free Weekend promo and can be continued upon purchase of the game provided the game is registered on the same Battle.net account that was used to play during the promo period.

Deployment schedule for Free Weekend will vary by region. However, the promo itself will begin on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m., Pacific Standard Time, and end on Nov. 21, 4 p.m., for all gameplay regions.
