The year 2016 has seen many surprises. Who could have imagined that Twitter’s very own CEO would have his account suspended on its very own platform? Accidentally, of course.

The incident was spotted around 6 p.m. Pacific Time, where Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s Twitter account displayed an “account suspension” error, reports The Next Web.

The account was restored 15 minutes later. However, the number of followers was missing around half a million from its original 3.9 million.

FEATURED STORIES

Netizens got a good laugh at the incident, but Dorsey managed to smoothly put everything to a close with a quick quip. He referenced to the first ever tweet to come from Twitter, which was called “twttr” back in 2006.
