New app guides Catholic penitents to nearby churches for confession
In a rush to confess your sins? There is now a corresponding app for this spiritual need.
A Roman Catholic archdiocese in Scotland formulated “The Catholic App,” or “Sindr,” a smartphone app that has identical features to dating app Tinder but encourages sinners to confess their wrongdoings in a brisk and innovative way.
The app, which was launched in Vatican on Tuesday, aids users in locating nearby churches around the Scottish cities of Edinburgh and St. Andrews. Also, the app lists details of Mass schedules and available priests for confession.

He said to be imaginative about what to do for the Holy Year of Mercy,” he explained.
