Samsung gaming laptops debut at CES 2017
Samsung has finally entered the gaming laptop segment and made this move well-known at the floor show of CES 2017 in Las Vegas, by unveiling its very first gaming laptop.
Called the Samsung Notebook Odyssey, its current releases include 17.3- and 15.6-inch models running on Intel’s new 7th-generation Core i7 Kaby Lake processors, reports TechRadar.
Article continues after this advertisementGraphics processing will be handled by NVIDIA with the 15-inch version getting a GTX 1050. Loadout for the 17-inch model is yet to be confirmed but it is likely to come equipped with either a GTX 1070 or GTX 1080. Both models will have 1080p View Angle Anti-Glare displays.
As for the cooling system, it utilizes a HexaFlow Vent system that even offers access to the memory and storage components.
For the rest of the internals, the 17-inch model comes with 64GB of DDR4 RAM and 512SSD+1TB hard drive storage. The 15-incher on the other hand gets 32GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB+1TB storage capacity.
