WATCH: Adobe wants to use voice commands for photo editing

/ 05:56 PM January 12, 2017

A recent concept video from Adobe showcased what the company would like for the future of photo editing. In this future, voice commands are used for photo editing.

The clip shows off a man editing photos while casually talking to his tablet. It looks cool, considering he only made minor adjustments to the image. But to achieve deeper levels of manipulation, Adobe would have to thoroughly expand the command list for the sake of precision.

The Next Web reports that the company sees this as “a first step towards a robust multimodal voice-based interface which allows our creative customers to search and edit images in an easy and engaging way.”

As to when Adobe plans to have this feature rolled out for the products, however, is still anyone’s guess. Alfred Bayle
