Nothing sets a romantic mood like good music playing in the background. One guy thought so, too, when he suddenly popped the big question to his girlfriend in the middle of Coldplay’s recent concert in Singapore.

Wes Feliciano, along with girlfriend Ansyl Yap Cadag, booked a trip to Singapore to catch the concert of British rock band Coldplay.

Little did Cadag know that her life was about to change.

It was during Coldplay’s performance of “Fix You” that Feliciano went down on his knee to propose to an obviously shocked Cadag. The audience happily cheered the couple on while singing with Coldplay’s performance.

Feliciano posted on his Facebook account, “I always knew that we will be spending a long time together even before when we were just friends. But I didn’t think it will turn out to be this beautiful. I love you so much, babe. Thank you for trusting me with your heart.”

Meanwhile, Cadag also shared her joy to friends and the public through an Instagram photo of her engagement ring.

This was not the first time someone proposed at a Coldplay concert. Chris Martin himself stopped the band’s performance in a 2016 concert in Melbourne, Australia to allow a man to propose on stage.

Taking after their proposal song, may the lights guide them home. Best wishes to Wes and Ansyl! JB
