Anyone who has ever played a game has encountered the level 1 boss. The boss monster at the end of the first stage that is often very easy to beat and utterly forgettable.
Logic suggests that, of course, the level 1 boss is weak because it’s meant to teach players basic game mechanics. But it appears that there is actually something more to what a level 1 boss is, as shown by this comic from Owl Turd Comix.
Quite introspective for a boss that everyone beats on the first try and later forgets. JB
