WATCH: How to make DIY SNES-themed buttons for Nintendo Switch

This Nintendo fan was somewhat disappointed with the rather drab-looking buttons on his Nintendo Switch Joy-Con. To fix that, he started a DIY project which involved replacing the original Joy-Con buttons with the colorful New 3DS buttons.

The DIY mod is purely aesthetic and from the looks of the tutorial, will require quite a bit of disassembly of the Joy-Con. Needless to say, doing this also voids the warranty on the Switch.

Recently, another Switch owner also made a small modification to his Joy-Con. Except that one was done to address the weak signal reception of the left controller—an issue that was widely discussed among players, and something that could be fixed with later batches of the Switch and Joy-Cons. JB
