While Apple has worked hard to maintain its veil of secrecy over the iPhone 8, rumors and leaks continue to make it throughout the internet. The latest leak on the device’s dimensions have even spawned rendered images.

The rendered images were created by Apple updates site iDrop News, which also reported on the iPhone 8’s leaked dimensions.

According to the report, the iPhone 8 will be much heftier and larger than the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 body is said to measure 143.59 x 70.94 x 7.57 millimeters.

Based on these dimensions, the rendered iPhone 8 was placed side-by-side with the current iPhone 7 models as well as Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8+.

Apart from this latest information, it was also reported that the iPhone 8 will include Apple’s A11 processor, wireless charging capabilities, 5.8” OLED display, vertical dual-lens camera system and front cameras with 3D facial recognition capacities.

Coincidentally, the practically bezel-less screen on the rendered iPhone 8 bears a resemblance to the recently introduced Essential phone by Android co-creator Andy Rubin. Based on current trends, it’s not too far-fetched to assume that the actual iPhone 8 will adopt the same look. Alfred Bayle/JB
