Anthem Official Teaser Trailer (2017)

In May, it was reported that video game developer BioWare Montreal was being scaled down, its workforce being allocated to other projects, and the “Mass Effect” series being put on temporary hiatus.

This new teaser trailer for an upcoming game called “Anthem” is the first peek of what BioWare has been working on, and was what led to the temporarily putting aside of a franchise as big as “Mass Effect”.

Work on this new intellectual property began when “Mass Effect” executive prouder Casey Hudson started development on it after completing “Mass Effect 3” back in 2012. Hudson left BioWare in 2014 but work on “Anthem” continued.

Kotaku reports that Electronic Arts has yet to reveal any more details apart from the game being scheduled for a fiscal year 18 release, which spans from April 2018 to March 2019.

BioWare is a subsidiary of Electronic Arts, a game development and publishing company. Alfred Bayle/JB
