Getting work experience while you’re young usually helps when it’s time to finally get a paying job. One teenager is working up a good portfolio, being assigned by a placement company to run a United Kingdom railway’s Twitter account.
Eddie, 15 years old, was given the task of running the Southern Railway’s Twitter page as part of his Work Experience placement. Work Experience is a company that helps kids like Eddie get temporary or permanent job placements.
Eddie cheerfully introduced himself with a tweet and offered to answer questions. Of course, he meant railway-related questions, but that didn’t stop Twitter users from poking fun.
This gentleman wanted to gauge Eddie’s mettle.
One lady asked about men. Might not be a good idea considering Eddie is just fifteen.
Another gentleman asked which “monger” was the worst. Eddie recommended a really good fishmonger.
Then Jules returned, with a more serious question.
Apparently Eddie believes that boys and girls have equal potentials.
Thanks to Eddie’s witty comebacks, people have taken a liking to him and have started cheering him on.
A couple of organizations even tried to get him for themselves.
