SpaceX has made their efforts and innovations to create a reusable rocket generally known to the public, including their failures.
The company compiled footage of their failed rocket landings and uploaded it to the internet as a clip titled “How Not to Land an Orbital Rocket Booster.”
While the Falcon 9 rockets were able to accomplish most of their missions in delivering payload into space, their landings were another matter.
The video shows the many failed landings of these rockets during the different stages of development. Due to the company’s openness in sharing their failed attempts, it makes their recent successes in landing the Falcon 9 all the more satisfying to watch.
The last successful landing was accomplished on Sept. 7 as per a SpaceX tweet, and it looks like they are getting more consistent.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk has also shown more of the space flight suit that future astronauts will be wearing on their way to Mars. The suit bears a minimalist design, and is leaner than the typical suits astronauts currently wear. JB
