While most people would trim nose hair for hygienic purposes, one netizen thought hers weren’t long enough — so she added extensions.
Instagram user @gret_chen_chen repurposed some eyelash extensions and pasted them on the edge of her nostrils. She then shared photos of her “nose hair extensions.”

Most of the netizens who saw her photos had a good laugh.
Others were disgusted.

Meanwhile, some created their own version of the nose hair extensions.
One commenter took it upon himself to explain that the photos were done in jest. He noted @gret_chen_chen’s previous photos were similarly wacky and humorous.
