Yoko Taro, creator of popular games like “Drakengard” and “Nier: Automata” revealed at a Singapore event that he wants to create an adult film at least once in his life.
The game maker attended the SEA Summit 2017 game conference, held in Singapore between October 12 to 13, as one of the guest panelists. He answered a question regarding his plans, after already having been involved with games, a novel and a stage play, according to Kotaku.
“I imagine this will be off putting, but I want to make an adult video (AV). Once in my life, I’m thinking I’d like to make one,” answered Yoko Taro.
It may be a strange thing to hear coming from a game maker, but Yoko Taro’s reputation as a bit of an eccentric somehow softens the shock.
Coincidentally, not long after his declaration on wanting to create an adult film, AV actress Honoka Mihara teased an upcoming video project based on “Nier: Automata”. Mihara tweeted photos of herself dressed up as 2B, the protagonist of Yoko Taro’s game.
Her post reads, “Yesterday I did a Nier AuXXmata cosplay (^^) Blindfolds are really naughty. Being blindfolded and doing something naughty can be very pleasant [heart emoji].”
Netizens following Mihara appear to be pleased about the new project’s unofficial announcement:
“This is great, for now I’ll reserve two copies.”
“Great!”
Perhaps Yoko Taro could to take part in producing this video with Mihara. Or maybe he has his own story in mind. Alfred Bayle/JB
