PC download charts: ‘Destiny 2’, ‘Wolfenstein II’, ‘Assassin’s Creed’ land

Having debuted the previous week, new games in the “Destiny”, “Wolfenstein” and “Assassin’s Creed” action franchises are positioned high in our selection of PC download charts.
Strong reviews have been matched by eager uptake for action games “Destiny 2”, “Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus” and “Assassin’s Creed Origins” which all released the week of Oct. 27, 2017.
The trio achieved high placings on the Humble Store, GameStop, Bundle Stars (which will be known as Fanatical from Nov. 1) and Steam (where “Destiny 2” is not available).
As well as that, they can be expected to feature in end-of-year annual reviews, alongside some of 2017’s best releases such as “NieR: Automata”, “Night in the Woods”, “XCOM 2: War of the Chosen”, “Hollow Knight”, “Cuphead” and “Divinity: Original Sin 2”.
Speaking of the most recent addition to role-playing franchise “Divinity”, the innovative and engaging September release arrived after a successful 2015 crowdfunding campaign and a year of in-development early access.
Despite exclusion from a seasonal sale, “Divinity: Original Sin 2” stuck fast to a top-five placing on GOG, the sort of performance that merits comparison to 2017’s PC blockbuster “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” and 2015 ever-present “Grand Theft Auto V” on Steam.
