A Chinese boy decided to unload a generous outpouring of pee on elevator buttons but quickly discovered the bad effect of his deed.
The unidentified boy took advantage of the empty elevator in one of the apartment buildings in Chongqing, China, to pull a rather distasteful prank. Surveillance footage showed the boy happily sprinkling his pee all over the elevator buttons.
The footage had been initially shared by the Ministry of Public Security on Chinese social media service Weibo with the title “Stop being naughty!” according to the South China Morning Post. Copies of the video have since appeared on YouTube.
Satisfied with his little misdemeanor, the youth zipped up his pants and prepared to leave the elevator. Unfortunately the pee seeped into the elevator electronics causing it to malfunction. The door opened slightly before closing again, trapping the boy inside.
Then the elevator buttons started flashing at random before the lights gave out completely. He tried pressing the buttons and jumping to try to open the door but to no avail. Authorities managed to free the little rascal sometime later.
The Ministry did not say whether the boy or his parents were to receive punishment for damaging the elevator. Alfred Bayle /ra
