Netizens complained of loss of internet connection, inability to send and receive text messages and make calls. One person asked on Twitter if she was the only one experiencing data and messaging problems with Globe, even if her phone’s signal strength is high.

Globe apologized for the interruption in a previous statement the company released.

“Restoration of services is ongoing and we will issue another advisory as soon as the issue is resolved. We apologize for this inconvenience,” Crisanto said earlier. /muf
