Want to express something on Instagram’s direct messaging with a GIF image? Now it is possible.
The photo and video sharing app announced in its blog post on Thursday that GIFs are now available on Instagram Direct.
Users can enjoy the feature by tapping the message thread at the upper right corner of their screens. From there, the new GIF button will appear in the composer bar, opening a library of GIFs powered by GIPHY.
If users want to add an “element of surprise,” users can send a random GIF. After typing in the search bar, tap “random” and a GIF will be sent based on your search.
The new feature is now available on Instagram’s latest version for both iOS and Android. /ra
