Messenger allows businesses to personally connect with customers
Communication style via Facebook Messenger is considered an “opportunity” for businesses to engage with their customers more personally, Facebook Philippines told reporters on Friday.
Facebook Philippines’ Country Director John Rubio discussed his insights on the importance of messaging between businesses and their consumers.
“With messaging, we see an opportunity to connect more meaningfully with things that people are passionate about. What we’ve seen is that messaging shortens the distance between people and what they want— whether it is for businesses or communities,” Rubio said in a meeting at the Facebook Philippines Office in Taguig City.
According to a September 2018 Facebook data, Facebook Messenger is used by people and businesses worldwide and exchanged for over 10 billion messages each month. /muf
