Facebook, Instagram down for some users around the world

Facebook bans Philippines’ Twinmark Media Enterprises

Can’t update that status or story? It’s because Facebook and Instagram are currently down.

Some users from around the globe have not been able to open their Facebook and Instagram accounts due to an unknown reason.


However, Facebook has turned to Twitter to address the problem.

The social media giant then denied that the downtime was caused by a distributed denial of service, also known as DDos.

South American users, meanwhile, are also having problems accessing Facebook-owned WhatsApp messengers.
