Most people want to travel to de-stress and regain focus. However, while going on a road trip by commuting is the most cost-effective mode, there’s no denying that having one’s own vehicle ensures a more comfortable and convenient journey.

Ford EcoSport is ideal for such spontaneous road trips. No need to book plane tickets or ferry rides anymore. Just hop inside your Ford EcoSport and quench that wanderlust.

Comfort and convenience from the pioneer in the mini SUV category

In the Philippines, Ford pioneered the mini SUV segment with the launch of the EcoSport in 2014. The new EcoSport features enhancements in terms of exterior and interior design, smart features and driver-assist technologies (DATs), and fuel efficiency.

You’re in for a relaxed driving with its interior enhancements that put comfort and convenience as top priority. The Titanium variant sports a more stylish design and features a leather seats, power sunroof, SYNC 3 with an 8-inch multicolor touchscreen, and a 7-speaker audio system. Additionally, it is compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.

The new EcoSport has a spacious trunk that can handle a load of up to 1,178 liters, with 25 smart storage compartments for coffee cups, bottles and other accessories.

Further, it has a ground clearance of 209mm, perfect for maneuvering in city conditions, such as passing through potholes, shoulder drop off, and muddy roads. Other exterior features include a new hood design, a front grille chrome finish, HID projector headlamps, and lightweight and extra durable 17-inch alloy wheels.

Street smart vehicle with superior fuel efficiency

The new EcoSport is equipped with DATs and safety features that make driving safer. This includes Automatic Headlights, Rear View Camera with Rear Parking Assist, Rain Sensing Wipers, Hill-Start Assist Control, Electronic Brake-force Distribution System, Electronic Stability Program, and Anti-Locking Brake System. It has also up to six airbags in the Titanium variant.

Another great enhancement is the SYNC® 3 with Navigation that allows drivers to keep driving while staying connected. With SYNC® 3, you can use voice control for the entertainment system and make calls or text messages.

Probably the centerpiece of all its breakthrough enhancements for the EcoSport, Ford recently introduced two engine variants for the vehicle: the award-winning 1.0L EcoBoost and the new 1.5L Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (TiVCT).

EcoBoost is Ford’s most technologically-advanced engine to date, producing more power while consuming less fuel through its direct fuel injection technology and variable camshaft timing with turbocharger. Meanwhile, the upgraded 1.5L engine features TiVCT (a more powerful version of the previous 1.5 EcoSport engine). Also, Ford introduced the new 6-speed Automatic Transmission of the EcoSport, which helps improve efficiency, and gives smoother and faster acceleration.

With its comfortable and stylish interiors, smart and safety features, and maximum fuel efficiency, Ford’s EcoSport gives you the freedom to ride safely and conveniently, either on short city rides or long, relaxing road trips
