South Korea’s Ticket Monster acquires Malaysian site
SEOUL, South Korea—Fast-growing South Korean daily deal site Ticket Monster said it has acquired a Malaysian company in its first move overseas.
Ticket Monster said Tuesday that the acquisition of Integrated Methods Sdn. Bhd., which owns an online shopping site, marks the beginning of its Asian expansion.
Ticket Monster CEO Daniel Shin said the company wants to grow aggressively overseas. He told reporters the company also aims to expand into Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam and Japan.

Seoul, South Korea-based Ticket Monster did not disclose terms of the Malaysian deal. Integrated Methods is the holding company for online shopping site Everyday.com.my.
Shin co-founded Ticket Monster Inc. in May last year.
