YGG Pilipinas Roadtrip will bring Web3 to local communities
Philippines-based blockchain gaming company Yield Guild Games (YGG) is attempting to boost local communities’ awareness about technologies as it plans to launch the annual event, YGG Pilipinas Roadtrip, to spread knowledge on Web3.
YGG will host Pilipinas Roadtrip from April to July 2024, aiming to help attendees learn more about Web 3.0, which is the next version of the Internet.
It will be held with the support and collaboration of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

“We want to ensure that every community in the Philippines has an opportunity to participate in this economy. The YGG Pilipinas Roadtrip is one of the ways we can teach new, future-oriented skills to the young, tech-savvy people in our provinces,” she added.
Article continues after this advertisementYGG Pilipinas Roadtrip is anticipated to have game demos, show matches, and a live version of the Discord show Crypto Fiesta from Web3 Metaversity, the firm’s online learning platform.
The event will also conduct educational sessions regarding cryptocurrency, blockchain, and trading fundamentals, while exhibits include:
- Web3 games Arena of Faith (AOF) and Sipher
- Game developer Delabs games
- Crypto exchange Coins.ph
- Web3 mobile infrastructure Jambo
- Popular web3 farming game Pixels

There will likewise be an “Experience Zone,” which will provide a quest card to help attendees track the booths they have visited.
The six-leg YGG Pilipinas Roadtrip will be held on the following dates and in these venues:
- April 13, 2024: Batangas City, Aquamarine Recreational Center
- April 27, 2024: Bagiuo City, Baguio Ayala Land Technohub, Camp John Hay
- May 18, 2024: Cebu City, Ayala Malls Central Bloc
- June 1, 2024: Davao City, Ayala Malls Abreeza
- June 22, 2024: Bacolod City, Ayala Malls Capitol Central
- July 6, 2024: Pasay City, Ayala Malls Manila Bay
