Samsung Galaxy S26 launches Feb 25: what we already know

10:04 AM February 12, 2026

February is a big month for Samsung as this is usually the month where they announce the new flagship S-series. This 2026 is no different with the unveil of the three devices in the S26 series, namely the base S26 model, the S26+, and the highly coveted S26 Ultra flagship.

The Internet has leaked all details of the device specs and it seems Samsung is going to use their homegrown Exynos chipset for the S26 and S26+ models and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for their flagship Ultra model.

For the most part, the biggest jump in specs would be the addition of a 60W wired fast charging for the S26 Ultra which is a welcome feature that addresses Samsung’s more conservative charging regimen. The improvements on the Exynos 2600 SoC are also awaiting benchmark tests from enthusiasts as Samsung has claimed that they have truly improved this as a worthy competitor to the Qualcomm counterpart.

We have to note that although specs have been leaked, these details are not final until the unveil event which will happen on Feb 25 2026 in San Francisco, California. The event will also be streamed live at the Samsung website, which is also their global pre-order site. For the Philippines, the pre-orders are typically separate with different promos. Due to time differences, the global launch for the Philippines will be on Feb 26, 2026.
