iOS 26.4.1 brings more security enhancements and fixes iCloud syncing issues

After a slew of security updates in the past iOS 26.4 updates, the focus of the latest Apple iOS update is not security this time but zeroed in on fixing the issue persistent with iCloud syncing. The update also squashes more persistent bugs and refining device performance across different models.

Syncing across Apple and third-party apps is now consistent again, including areas like saved data, notifications, and general app states. There are also minor refinements alongside the fix. Keyboard input has been improved while notifications have also been improved. Thermal management has also been adjusted, which helps reduce the common overheating issue during heavier use.

Alongside the fixes, the update includes minor stability improvements and security patches. There are no new features. Stolen Device Protection that was introduced in iOS 17.3 is now turned on by default iOS 26.4.1.
