Cyberzone Game Fest turns SM Mall of Asia into a gaming and tech playground

Gaming, technology, and community culture collided at SM Mall of Asia as Cyberzone Game Fest transformed the mall into a hub for gamers, tech enthusiasts, and pop culture fans over the weekend.

The event brought together interactive gaming experiences, tech showcases, and community activities, drawing crowds eager to explore the latest in gaming and digital entertainment. Attendees got to try out immersive setups, connect with fellow fans, and take part in activities designed for both casual players and dedicated gamers.

Co-presented by Acer Philippines and OPPO Philippines, the festival highlighted how gaming continues to shape youth and online culture in the Philippines, with brands and communities coming together in one shared space.

A standout attraction during the event was the DEV DEN area, created in partnership with Philippine Gaming Alliance and Gridlock Games Studio. The section placed a spotlight on local gaming talent and homegrown developers, giving attendees a closer look at projects made by Filipino creators.

Among the featured titles was “Vi 3v3 Arena,” introduced as the country’s first Filipino eSports title. The showcase gave visitors the chance to discover locally developed games while supporting the growing Philippine gaming industry.

Following its stop at MOA, Cyberzone Game Fest heads next to SM City Fairview on May 23 to 24, where more gaming experiences, tech activities, and community events are expected to continue the festival’s momentum.
