UGREEN targets travel boom with new lightweight tech lineup

As domestic and outbound travel rebounds across the Philippines, a quiet shift is changing what Filipinos pack into their carry-ons.

Air passenger traffic in the Philippines is at record highs. According to the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), Ninoy Aquino International Airport handled 4.96 million passengers in January 2026 — the busiest month on record for the country’s main gateway — with international passenger volume rising 8.16 percent year-on-year. NAIA closed 2025 with an all-time annual high of 52.02 million passengers.

On the tourism side, the Department of Tourism is targeting 6.7 million foreign arrivals for 2026, supported by infrastructure upgrades, new visa policies, and an expanding airline route network.

Behind that travel rebound is a smaller but telling shift: the tech accessories Filipinos pack are getting lighter, slimmer, and smarter. It is into this environment that UGREEN, the leading global consumer technology brand serving over 300 million users worldwide, has launched its “Go Light, Go Bright” campaign across Southeast Asia, anchored by two new product lines: the Air Editions charging series and the FineTrack Series of smart trackers.

One charger for the whole carry-on

Frequent flyers know the routine: separate adapters for the laptop, the phone, and the earbuds, all jostling for space in a sling bag. The Nexode Air 65W Charger is built to collapse that pile into one.

Compact enough to fit comfortably in the palm, the unit delivers up to 65W of stable output. According to UGREEN, it can charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max to roughly 68 percent in 30 minutes. Through USB-C Power Delivery, a single Nexode Air can rotate between a laptop, smartphone, and wireless earbuds without swapping bricks.

Magnetic power banks that stick to the phone

Magnetic wireless power banks are quickly becoming a category of their own across Southeast Asia — slimmer than traditional ones, and designed to stay attached to the phone while in use. UGREEN’s MagFlow Air series brings two thickness options to the local market: a 10000mAh 15W model at 13.9mm thin for full-day use, and an ultra-slim 5000mAh 15W version that is only 8.6mm thick and weighs just 127g, offering a barely-there feel for users who want reliable backup power without extra bulk. Both are Qi2-certified, support 15W wireless charging, and include a built-in USB-C cable along with an additional USB-C port that allows a second device to be charged at the same time. Their cells are sourced from ATL, delivering reliable performance with enhanced safety for everyday and long-term use. It also complies with airline carry-on standards, making it well suited for travel.

Smart trackers built for the Pinoy on the move

Bluetooth trackers are no longer a niche product in the Philippines. They show up in checked luggage on Manila-to-Davao flights, clipped onto backpacks during Siargao trips, and tucked into wallets across the daily Grab-to-MRT commute. UGREEN’s new entries lean into both ends of that use case.

The FineTrack 2 features a playful, soccer-ball-inspired design — a nod to the 2026 World Cup — and is built to attach to suitcases or backpacks. The FineTrack Mini 2 features a tag-style design that fits inside wallets and passport holders. Both come with glow-in-the-dark accents that make them easier to spot in low light, useful for travelers retrieving bags after late-night arrivals.

UGREEN states that both trackers offer up to 7 years of battery life, include a 110dB built-in alarm, and support global tracking. A smart left-behind alert pings the user’s phone before they walk away from a tagged item — designed for the kind of meeting-to-Grab-to-flight day many Manila professionals know all too well.

Both the FineTrack 2 and FineTrack Mini 2 are certified for Apple’s Find My network, meaning iPhone users in the Philippines can locate items directly through the native Find My app, without installing a separate application.
