More than just a call center, Accenture gives ‘end-to-end services’
MANILA, Philippines—Amid the Philippines’ booming business process outsourcing (BPO) industry comprising call centers, one company—the Accenture—prides itself as being “more than just a call center.”
Accenture’s country managing director, Lito Tayag, said in a media roundtable discussion that their company can design businesses, provide the technologies for them, and run them.

Accenture serves organizations across various industries including communication, media and entertainment, banking, insurance, health, public service, automotive, logistics, industrial equipment, retail, chemicals, energy, utilities and natural resources.
A statement released during the event states that Accenture has more than 4,000 clients in 120 countries with 92 of those companies listed in Fortune Magazine’s Global 100. In the Philippines, it has 12 facilities in Metro Manila and two in Cebu, giving them the “largest footprint in the country.”
Article continues after this advertisementAccenture Global Delivery Network for Technology Lead, Ambe Tierro, said that they can “design, build, run” a company’s Information Technology System to help them become more efficient and productive.
“We provide a seamless solution so companies won’t have to talk to multiple vendors” to get their various needs, Tierro said.
Aside from their customer contact services, they can create and establish a company’s IT infrastructure. They also create software and programs for a wide variety of applications and platforms such as mobile, social media, enterprise network, it said.
In the BPO industry, Accenture said that they recruit more than 120,000 employees to support 1.5 million clients with HR services in 100 countries.
Accenture “is a global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company,” they said in a statement released during the event.
“Because we know our partners and their technology inside-out, we can rapidly tailor solutions to each client’s specific needs,” it said.
