Clark airport has free Wi-Fi
CLARK FREEPORT—Telecommunications firms Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT) and Smart Communications Inc. launched on Friday their free Wi-Fi service at the Clark International Airport (CRK).
The two companies are initially investing P1 billion to free up Wi-Fi services in 23 transport hubs in the country, according to Eric Alberto, PLDT executive vice president and president and chief executive officer of e-PLDT.
Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said the service speaks of a “synergical partnership” of the government and the private sector.
