Internet goes bonkers over werewolf-like ‘Atchoum’
The internet is a magical place. At one point everyone is arguing about politics and then the next whether the animal in a picture is a cat, a dog, or something else. Enter the fluffy and lovable Atchoum of social media fame.
To set the record straight, Atchoum is a Persian cat from Canada that has a very rare congenital hormonal condition referred to as hypertricosis, or werewolf syndrome. It generally causes fast and continual hair growth as well as the thickening of the claws (claws are made of the same protein and keratin substance found in hair), reports The Telegraph.

Atchoum is happily living with his family and has already garnered over 160,000 followers on Instagram. A Facebook profile has also been created for him and has over 60,000 followers so far.
Netizens may head on over to Atchoum’s Instagram, Facebook, and personal site for more feline cuteness. He’s a cat, of course, and can offer hours of cute, adorable entertainment. Alfred Bayle
