Shaia LaBeouf earns title ‘No. 1 MC in Hollywood’

Many recognize Shaia LaBeouf for his role as the fast-talking, antsy, neurotic teen protagonist of the Transformer movies. On his days off , however, he likes to motivate people to “not let dreams be dreams” and be just plain old No. 1 MC in Hollywood.

LaBeouf dropped by YouTube show “Sway in the Morning” as a guest to bust out some rhymes and absolutely destroy the “5 Fingers of Death,” reports Rap Favorites.

5 Fingers of Death is a “freestyle” rap portion of the show where featured guests are asked to rap five different beats. It has become a sort of benchmark to test the rapping skills of its guests, some of whom are reputable rappers in the music industry, and not all are able to make the cut.

LaBeouf is not a professional rapper, yet he showed that he could rap with the best of them. Sway, the show’s host, was so impressed that he immediately named LaBeouf the No. 1 MC in Hollywood. He added, “…you a rapper posing as an actor!”  Alfred Bayle
