Dog warning label found inside Samsung Galaxy S8
Samsung’s new Galaxy S8 has finally begun landing in their owners’ hands. With that, a slew of videos regarding the new smartphone has begun popping up online. One particular YouTuber noticed a little “no dogs allowed” sticker when he cracked open an S8.
As it turns out, the sticker is not meant to discriminate against man’s best friend. According to The Verge, the sticker found on the S8 battery is meant to warn people that the smartphone battery is toxic to dogs. It should not be left lying around for dogs to find and be turned into a chew toy.

Apart from the fact that lithium-ion is toxic to both humans and pets, there is also a danger of the battery unit exploding.
As we’ve all learned from Samsung’s recent experience with batteries, the slightest bit can cause it to bloat and eventually combust. If a pet dog were to puncture it with its teeth, there’s a good possibility that its owner will be taking a trip to the local veterinary clinic post-haste.
