Inquirer e-books out on Kindle

Following the release of its first electronic books on its Digital Newsstand, the Inquirer Group is now making its e-books available for the first time on the Amazon Kindle platform.

“With Due Respect: Selected Columns from the Philippine Daily Inquirer” by retired Chief Justice Artemio V. Panganiban and “No Free Lunch: Economics in Bite-Sized Pieces, Selected Columns from the Philippine Daily Inquirer” by Cielito Habito, a former head of the National Economic and Development Authority, are the first two Inquirer e-books available on the Kindle store.

Apart from having Kindle e-books, the Inquirer is the only Philippine newspaper with a Kindle edition (https://amzn.to/gPQkeV).

“With Due Respect” (https://amzn.to/WithDueRespectKindle) deals with the importance of electoral and legal reform and discusses the inner workings of the Supreme Court, as well as the importance of legal and electoral reforms in advancing Philippine democracy.

On the other hand, “No Free Lunch,” (https://amzn.to/NoFreeLunchKindle), as stated in its foreword, explains the reasons behind oil and rice price increases, why reducing poverty has proven to be such an elusive goal, and the impact overseas markets have on the Philippine economy.

Both books are available on the Kindle store for $5.95 in the United States and $7.95 outside the US mainland.
