Globe continues Northern takeover with Pangasinan partnership

Globe continues its unwavering commitment to provide high quality connectivity to more areas outside the metro through a formal partnership with the Municipality of Mangaldan, Pangasinan.  

Mangaldan is a first-class municipality made up of 30 barangays and a booming population of over 100,000. Through a partnership with its local government, Globe aims to equip these constituents with free, high quality connectivity powered by its GoWiFi services. 

This was formalized through a Memorandum of Agreement signing held recently at the Mangaldan Municipal Hall. The ceremony was led by Janis Racpan, Director of Business Development and Marketing – Digital Solutions Group at Globe with Hon. Marilyn Lambino, Municipal Mayor of Mangaldan, Pangasinan. GoWiFi services will soon be available in select public locations such as the Mangaldan Municipal Hall and Mangaldan Plaza, with plans of powering more locations within the community and other municipalities in the province of Pangasinan in the next few years. 

Through a sealed partnership, Mangaldan is now part of the 2,700 GoWiFi hotspots all over the country. It is also one of the latest communities in the Northern frontier of the country along with the province of Ilocos Norte to be powered by free high quality connectivity. The free WiFi service provider continues its expansion plans nationwide, particularly in high-traffic areas like schools, malls, and hospitals to make high-quality internet connection accessible and affordable to more Filipinos.

GoWiFi services are available in regular (free) GoWiFi and premium (paid) GoWiFi Auto, both available to all users with any WiFi-enabled device regardless of network service provider.
