BANGKOK—A computer monitor is essentially a user’s window to a world of possibilities, serving as a medium that allows access to people, information and many other things.

In fact, without a reliable monitor, one may never fully maximize and enjoy the benefits of using the computer for whatever purpose—be it for research, graphics design or simply browsing.

Officials present during the launch said the monitors were designed with consumers in mind, noting that  “for every product delivered, so much feedback and inputs from the consumers were considered.”

“Good design goes beyond aesthetic beauty. Consumers today demand that products not only look great, but act as their window to a world of computing possibilities,” says Benjamin Wong, managing director of MMD for Asia Pacific.

“Embodying the Philips philosophy of sense and simplicity, there is something for everyone in our range of consumer innovations,” Wong adds.

For the consumer category, MMD presented three latest additions to the company’s C, E and V lines, all featuring LED technology, superior color reproduction and Philips proprietary technologies that bring the comfort of working at home to a new level.

The C-Line, MMD says, is for the “stylish, sophisticated and hard to please” users as it features premium consumer monitors that combine elegance with innovative features that allow users to experience a “vivid color spectrum and life-like contrast.”

The Philips Moda PC, the latest from the C-Line, was designed with premium materials. It comes preloaded with top-of-the-line technology features. Its stand is made of stylish aluminum die-cast base, sporting an eye-catching two-toned glossy finish and intelligent SmartTouch controls that replace conventional protruding buttons.
