Kaz and Mariko Yamaguchi, a couple from Kyoto, Japan, spent their honeymoon across 41 countries, such as United Arab Emirates, China, Laos, Ethiopia, Peru, and Vietnam.

What made their travels and experiences memories were the ‘dronies’ they produced, or selfies taken through drones. Many of the viewers were astounded by the incredible ‘dronies’ the couple filmed throughout their honeymoon pilgrimage.

A video clip uploaded by Facebook page Trickology featured a compilation of dronies of the Yamaguchi couple in different global tourist spots. As of this writing, the video was shared 11,250 times, liked 10,860 times, commented on by 2,670 users, and viewed 832,360 times.

According to the video, Kaz has only flown a drone twice before their global journey and they used dronies to “remember the trip forever”.

In an interview with INQUIRER.net, Kaz narrated that they have not returned to Japan since they left for their adventurous honeymoon in July 2015. “We’re currently in the Galápagos Islands in Ecuador [now, and] we plan to go up north all the way to the US and return home in August,” he said. Gianna Francesca Catolico
