WATCH: ‘Pimple-popping’ cupcakes upset FB users’ appetite
Has pastry decorating and making gone to the extreme level?
A viral video uploaded on social networking site YouTube shows several cupcakes designed like poked zits oozing white fluid and water.
It was posted by Dr. Sandra Lee, a California-based dermatologist widely known as Dr. Pimple Popper. “Made with love by @blessedbybaking,” she wrote in the caption.
The “discomforting” clip racked 6 million views, 75, 930 shares, and 21,000 likes and reactions as of Wednesday. An alarming number of social media users “nauseated” with the unsavory pastry, despite its one-of-a-kind and creative design.
”Disgusting! The real thing is awesome, but you crossed the line when you messed up those cupcakes,” one user commented on FridaThat’s.
“That’s just gross and I can’t watch the grossest pimple pops,” another user outrageously exclaimed.
Lee is dubbed as a social media celebrity after she uploaded videos of her pimple and cyst removal surgeries on her Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram accounts. Gianna Francesca Catolico
