iWave Advanced Research Group and AFAB’s OZ Flagship Ecozone wins Global Blockchain Technologies Award

The oldest and fastest growing Philippine Ecozone – the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB) – is the first ecozone to provide Oz Living by being part of the Oz network. This partnership sets the stage for all ecozones to follow where registered citizens of Oz may enjoy the full benefits of Oz Living.
FAB is a 170 square kilometer Special Economic Zone located at the center of Asia within the Philippines, directly across Metro Manila. It is the only freeport in the Manila Bay area, the Philippines’ center of trade. The FAB is an ideal trans-shipment hub, strategically located at a prime transit point for domestic, regional and global shipping. It is also located within the vicinity of three international airports in Manila, Clark and Subic.
This AIBC award is presented for projects that have managed to effectively and efficiently combine tokenization and cryptography. Through the development of blockchain technology, tokenization is incredibly effective as a means of internal and online protection. Asset tokenization offers a way to protect sensitive data and reduce the risk of its loss.
TOTOZ is the world’s first residency-enabled token with real world utility. IWAR’s TOTOZ, Tokenization Project of the Year
iWave Advanced Research Group, Inc. (iWAR) is a leading blockchain and fintech company that was awarded an exclusive license by the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB), a government-owned and controlled corporation to operate the Global Trade Exchange (GTX), a platform that enables the cross-border trade and exchange of digital assets between international investors, excluding Filipinos.
AFAB commissioned the development and launch of Oz, a proprietary blockchain protocol intended to provide liquidity and operators under GTX, effectively providing operators access to credit and capital to seed and upscale their business and operations.
