Honda is building the Prologue together with General Motors. Also, it is the Japanese car brand’s first long-range EV designed for US customers.

FEATURED STORIES

Thus, the company intended its audience to compare the Honda Prologue to its current CR-V. In turn, people would classify it as an affordable compact SUV like the latter.

Honda believes its hybrids will facilitate the introduction of all-electric vehicles for most of its clients. In response, this article will compare them side-by-side.

The Honda Prologue’s wheelbase is eight inches longer than the CR-V’s. Also, it would be five inches wider, so we expect a roomier interior from the Prologue.

Its dashboard is an 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, but we do not have more specific details about it. Yet, we could expect features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charger for smartphones.

Also, the company shared a peek at the SUV’s interior. The Prologue uses a clutter-free design with muted tones, emulating the inside of the Civic compact sedan and Passport SUV.

The Honda Prologue would have the standard warranty for new Honda models. The Limited covers 36,000 miles or three years, while the Powertrain covers 60,000 miles or five years.

Both agreements allow complimentary scheduled maintenance that covers 24,000 miles for two years. Based on existing Honda models, we could expect the Prologue to start at roughly $45,000.

Conclusion

That is all we know about the 2024 Honda Prologue so far. Still, the brand would not want to reveal too much ahead of the release.

In other words, the unveiled features build hype for the electric SUV. You can now check out the 2023 Nissan Z if you cannot wait for Honda’s eco-friendly family car.

You could also wait for the Tesla Cybertruck to release in 2023. Perhaps you want to stand out with its futuristic design. Meanwhile, you could read more Inquirer Tech articles while waiting.
